ubidefeo's isolator does in a designed part what the forum was doing with scraps of plastic: it holds the antenna a fixed distance from the aluminium so the shell does not detune it. Thingiverse lists it as 'ClockWork uConsole Antenna isolator'; there is no forum thread or measurement attached, so treat it as a tidy version of the spacer trick.
