USB is tapped from the unpopulated modem pads on the daughter board (the pins are in the GitHub schematics), feeding a DollarTec hub; from there an RJ45 dongle and two external USB ports are wired out, and an SMA jack is added for the onboard antenna with a second for a monitor-mode Wi-Fi dongle. The soldering is rough by the author's admission, but the layout is well documented.
