Successor to the 2024 RTL-SDR extension board, the AIO v2 fits the expansion slot and works on its own (SDR, LoRa, GPS and RTC all function without the adapter board; RJ45 needs it and USB drops to 2.0 on a CM5). Rex maintains a Debian package that sets everything up — sdrpp-brown, tar1090, pygpsclient and meshtastic-mui — and HackerGadgets publish a control tool on GitHub.
Known issue: units shipped before 15 January 2026 have an internal USB-C current limit of 0.68 A instead of 1.58 A, which starves the AC1200 Wi-Fi card; the fix is a 4.3 kΩ 0402 resistor swap, and HackerGadgets ran a compensation plan. Available alone ($92) or with the antenna mounting kit and antenna pack.
