CI-built Debian and Ubuntu images (uConsole-Image-Builder)
crossplatformdev's GitHub Actions pipeline builds flashable Bookworm, Trixie and Jammy images with a choice of eight desktops, on Rex's kernel.

Difficulty 1 of 3 — easy.
Details
ElijaxApps turned the uConsole build script into a GitHub workflow that produces releases automatically: Debian 12, Debian 13 and Ubuntu 22.04 for CM4 and CM5 (the thread also listed CM3), with GNOME, KDE Plasma, Cinnamon, MATE, Xfce, LXDE, LXQt or GNOME Flashback preinstalled — 48 variants across 24 releases, built with rpi-image-gen and the ak-rex kernel. Networking, desktop and SSH are enabled, login clockworkpi/clockworkpi, and a low-power kernel variant exists.
The author had only tested trixie-gnome at the time of posting, calls the images heavy compared with stock, and notes WiFi trouble on Ubuntu 24.04 with a CM4. The OS directory lists these builds alongside Rex's.
