liqiuqiclockworkpi (Harry Lee) plugged in Waveshare's Thermal USB Camera (C) in the 45° lens variant and, after some debugging, had its 160 × 120 sensor streaming; the tutorial repo (Chinese, with the commands) records the recipe. The camera had no Linux support out of the box: a Python venv with numpy, smbus, crcmod, matplotlib, opencv-python and cmapy, the pysenxor library installed in editable mode, three edits in mi48.py and stream_usb.py to register module type 6 at 160 × 120, and a .desktop launcher to start it. A mirror-flip option handles rear-facing use.
The photos in the thread show it working handheld, with a strap as an improvised stand.
