A remix of ClockworkPi's cover files that enlarges the battery bay for two 146074 lithium-polymer packs (10 Ah each) and clears a Waveshare CM5 active heatsink; it is designed around the HackerGadgets upgrade boards and will not fit a stock console. The author says up front it is untested; V2 files (February 2026) add depth for adapter-board clearance, and the kickstand cannot clip back because its screw goes away and the support bar will not fully close over the bigger bay. PCBWay's SLM service is suggested for a metal print.
All the LiPo caveats from the 10 Ah entry apply twice over: 3 A protection boards versus 5 A peaks, matched state of charge before paralleling, and the AXP228's single-cell charger. Wait for a build report before printing.

bored99's one-piece replacement back leaves the CM5 heatsink open to the air and covers the cells with a magnet-held plastic lid for quick swaps.
Lars Lorenz's remix of the stock back cover adds a magnet-held lid over the cells, so 18650s can be swapped without taking the cover off.
Swap the two 18650s for a single 10,000 mAh 9858102 pouch — 24–31 Wh measured — but only with a protection board that survives the uConsole's 5 A peaks.
Stack two 5 Ah pouches where the 18650s were and wire them in parallel to the battery board for about 31–33 Wh — after charging both to the same level.
Any genuine branded 3,000–3,500 mAh 18650 works, flat-top or button-top; listings claiming much more than 3,500 mAh are fakes.
The 21700 version of HG's NVMe battery board fits the stock backplate and roughly doubles runtime: 4 h 31 min of 1080p playback against 2 h 27 min on 18650s.
